Bed bugs have the unique ability to hide anywhere. The most common places are in the tiny cracks and crevices in your walls and baseboards. They have also been known to hide in between the pages of your favorite book! Be sure to reduce the clutter in your home in order to decrease the number of hiding spots.
Bed bugs normally feed at night when you are sleeping, hence the term "bed bug". But if you work the night shift, chances are you're sleeping during the day, so they will feed on you then.
Bed bugs will travel an average of 15 feet to find a tasty treat - you! These blood suckers will multiply quickly. If you think you might have bed bugs, contact a professional exterminator. Check for blood spots on your sheets and red marks on your body.
Have you taken a vacation recently? Bed bugs love to travel too and will hide in your luggage to return to your house with you.
